COTERIE OF ASPIRANTS
Education has a vital role to play in the life of every individual. Acknowledging this fact everyone tries to get educated from the very early stage of one’s life. Education has no fixed definition although there are many ingredients that go into its making. Education, in its broadest sense, is any experience that has a formative effect on the mind, character or physical ability of an individual; and in its technical sense, education is the process by which the society deliberately transmits its accumulated knowledge, information, skills, moral values, thoughts etc. from one generation to another through institutions. Education has multiple aims. It should become a progression and an outlook of individuals or society. Sometimes education is said as an ornament, a delight to enhance the ability of each person. Education doesn’t mean mere literacy, it means the total and all round development of an individual. It has to focus on the cultivation of skills, trades, or profession as well as mental, moral, and aesthetic development. One can identify in prima facie a person’s level of education while interacting with him.

Higher education refers to the stage of learning that occurs at universities or colleges or academies and institutions of technology. With a higher education you are ensured that you will have a better paying job that will ensure stability in life. The aim of every government is to develop an exclusive world class higher education sector which provides students with skills they need and to help to undermine a productive economy and cohesive society. Higher education is an important source of high level skills and knowledge for the nation. In India some universities are under the central government and some belong to state governments. Every university offers myriads of courses like under graduate, post graduate, integrated P.Gs, MPhils, PH.Ds, diplomas and correspondence courses. If you are a higher learning aspirant, you have to know all these universities and the courses offered by them. As a help for you, I am creating a corridor to select universities and courses for higher education. Hope this humble venture will be of some utility.
I collect information from the Google, newspapers and magazines like The Hindu, The New Indian Express, The Times of India, Deccan Chronicle, CSR, Mathrubhumi, Malayala Manorama etc. I am much obliged to them.
